Internal Audit Checklist – Template
This internal audit checklist is a template and can be customized to individual hospital sites auditing needs. The regulations are paired with the corresponding CSA Z902:25 Blood and Blood Components standard as well as a “what to look for” column to assist auditors with limited knowledge in Transfusion Medicine practice.
This resource has been developed to assist Ontario Transfusion Medicine Laboratories (TML) in performing internal audits of the regulated activities in which they perform. Regulated activities under the Blood Regulations include labelling, storing, distributing/redistributing, and transforming blood components. Other items included in the internal audit checklist are critical supplies, equipment and quality items.
