Parvovirus B19 in solid organ transplant recipients – established infection

Recommended Indications in which IG can be used

Recommendations	IG may be used in patients with established parvovirus B19 infection. Retreatment may be considered for non-response or symptomatic relapse.
Dose/Frequency of Administration	2 g/kg adjusted body weight divided over 5 days. Note: Shorter courses may be considered, but daily doses of more than 1 g/kg are associated with nephrotoxicity.
