Immune Globulin Audits

This audit was conducted retrospectively to assess compliance with the information submitted on the IVIG request form at four treatment centres in Ontario. Documentation of the indication for IVIG use and efficacy of the IVIG treatment were assessed.

In 2007, a baseline provincial audit of IVIG utilization was conducted, over a 3-month period, involving 25 hospitals. In 2012, an audit capturing the same data points was conducted, and results are presented in this report. August 2013
