Frozen Plasma Toolkit

The previously developed Frozen Plasma (FP) toolkit has been updated to include the 2013 Provincial Frozen Plasma/Prothrombin Complex Concentrate (PCC) audit results. The toolkit also includes recommendations for both FP and PCC utilization (including Choosing Wisely Canada recommendations), and 2 algorithms* for the screening of FP orders, 1 algorithm specifically related to patients on anticoagulant therapy. *Please note when printing the algorithms, legal (8.5″x 14″) sized paper is required.
