Le congr\u00e8s de la SCMT se tiendra cette ann\u00e9e au Westin Harbour Castle Hotel de Toronto (ON). Le th\u00e8me du congr\u00e8s de cette ann\u00e9e est Adaptation, transformation, personnalisation. Le programme scientifique offre des s\u00e9ances \u00e9ducatives pour tous les professionnels de la sant\u00e9 qui s\u2019int\u00e9ressent \u00e0 la m\u00e9decine transfusionnelle ou qui la pratiquent. <\/p>\n\n

La conf\u00e9renci\u00e8re invit\u00e9e cette ann\u00e9e est Jessica Holmes, favorite pendant 15 ans de l\u2019\u00e9mission Royal Canadian Air Farce et qui a fait crouler de rire le public en assurant la premi\u00e8re partie de g\u00e9ants comme Ellen DeGeneres, Russell Peters, Jerry Seinfeld et Oprah Winfrey.Son regard cocasse sur les d\u00e9fis de la vie et son talent incontest\u00e9 pour imiter des c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9s feront rire le public. Ses pr\u00e9sentations divertissantes et personnalis\u00e9es comme ma\u00eetre de c\u00e9r\u00e9monie \u2013 qui abordent la motivation et le bien-\u00eatre- sont toujours r\u00e9ussies. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Je vous invite aussi \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter des r\u00e9sum\u00e9s de pr\u00e9sentations orales ou par affiche qui souligneront vos efforts ou ceux de votre \u00e9tablissement en m\u00e9decine transfusionnelle et aideront \u00e0 tisser des liens au sein de la communaut\u00e9 transfusionnelle canadienne! In addition, you are invited to submit abstracts for poster and\/or oral presentation at the conference to highlight your individual\/facility\u2019s efforts in Transfusion Medicine and helping to connect Canada’s Transfusion Community! <\/p>\n\n

The conference venue, the Westin Harbour Castle, with its two 34-storey waterfront towers, offers dreamy views of both Lake Ontario and the entire city. It is the quintessential urban convention resort located in the revived waterfront district, the hotel offers direct access to some of Toronto’s most noteworthy sites, including the Rogers Centre, Scotiabank Arena, CN Tower, high-end shopping and delicious restaurants. The hotel is located near local subway stations and bus stops for easy travel throughout downtown Toronto and is only a short taxi ride from both Pearson and Toronto Island Airports. <\/p>\n\n

The 17th annual Transfusion Medicine Education Web Conference was held April 8th 2022. This event showcased dealing with different transfusion requirements for different types of patients with a massive bleed. If you missed the event it will be archived on the transfusion ontraio website for viewing. Watch for it on transfusionontario.org in the coming week. We woud like to extend our thanks to the organizers and the speakers for another great symposium. See you all next year!<\/p>\n
