The Transfusion Safety Officer (TSO) Resource Manual was developed to be used as a reference for Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLT), Registered Nurses (RN) and other healthcare professionals appointed to the Transfusion Safety Officer role. This resource is intended to be utilized by hospitals or institutions that do not have a formal TSO in place but have responsibilities that are delegated to certain healthcare personnel.
