{"id":12634,"date":"2025-01-27T14:24:16","date_gmt":"2025-01-27T19:24:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/transfusionontario.org\/?p=12634"},"modified":"2025-01-27T15:19:52","modified_gmt":"2025-01-27T20:19:52","slug":"primary-immunodeficiency-disorders-igum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/transfusionontario.org\/en\/primary-immunodeficiency-disorders-igum\/","title":{"rendered":"Primary immunodeficiency (PID) disorders"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Including by not limited to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) and associated disorders <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>specific antibody deficiency <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IgG subclass deficiency <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>combined immunodeficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-036f609a813ebf7c494f7208c56cbbdc\" style=\"color:#477d6c\"><strong>Recommended Indications in which IG can be used<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-9bee6bdb5f5eadeaf4d5d38253868301\" style=\"background-color:#a5cbbf\"><strong>Order Number: I1-PID<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-regular\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Recommendations<\/strong><\/td><td>Immunoglobulin replacement is recommended for preventing infection. <br><strong>Note:<\/strong> This includes bacterial infections as well as select viral, protozoal, and fungal infections, as directed by a physician with recognized expertise in immunodeficiency disorders. <br><br><strong>Qualifying Criteria <br><\/strong>PID diagnosis must be established by a physician with recognized expertise in immunodeficiency disorders.
